A regular trip to a lake with his mother becomes a large-scale adventure after he's attacked by a mysterious man who tries to kill him and kidnaps his mother!
Throughout his journey, he will meet a little girl in search of someone close to her, meet two friends(?) united by a shared cause to save the world, fight against a large army and their four elite generals, and battle against a mysterious hidden organization with foul plans for the world.

Greeting! This game, "The Child of Fire", is the first game I have ever made using RPG Maker MZ. This isn't my first time using RPG Maker in general, but it is still my first game on this platform nonetheless.
As this is my first game, I decided not to use plugins (except for the sideview one) just so I could try and figure this engine out first. However, I did try to do the best I could without them.
With that said, if you choose to download this game, I hope you enjoy it, and please rate the game, or maybe leave a review. Thank you!

He appears on the third floor of the Light Shrine somewhere left from the save point. He doesn't spawn in until a certain point in the game, but one of the townspeople just outside the shrine will let you know if he is in there.

That's my bad, sorry.
I would've changed that bit, but after getting a new laptop, I somehow lost access to being able to make changes to the game.
I believe the blue switch requires you to defeat every Autonomous Knight in the area where the blue switch is found. After doing so, you should be able to access the blue switch and move on. Sorry for there literally being nothing that hints that you have to do that.

Stuck on airship. Cannot find the switch to turn off the blue barrier in area 4.

You're supposed to return the cavern you travelled through to reach the Oasis.
After interacting with a conveniently placed boulder, your party will gain access to the cave up north. My fault really, should've specified which cave you were supposed to enter.
