The Reserves

Originally created as part of Illy's Theme Roulette 4 event.

Every country in the world has a group of full-time superheroes, called Alphas, assigned to protect it.

Unfortunately, every so often while the Alphas are off saving tens of millions of lives, smaller-scale conflicts occur with no one around to resolve them (apart from the mostly-useless police, but that's another story).

Enter the Reserves Program. If you have supernatural abilities, you can sign up to help out when the Alphas are occupied and earn great money doing it!

This story is about a city under attack while the Alphas are away, and the local Reserves' efforts to establish order in not only their city, but their own lives...

- Modern setting
- Touch encounters instead of random encounters (does this need to be said in this day and age?)
- Standard RPG Maker MZ third-person view active battle system...unlike my previous projects, this one is relatively simple to beat if you enjoy grinding. Otherwise there is still a challenge, but it's more along the lines of how fast you can deal with the opposition before they deal with you.
- About 45 minutes - 1 hour in length (maybe a bit more if you explore everything in the area)
