Life sucks on a cold rock in space...

This is a short horror game that gives us a glimpse on how life on another planet on our solar system would be. Spoiler: Not Great...

Graphics: The game has a nice and gritty main menu that showcases the moon of Ganymede, where the action takes place. The tile sets used in this game are mostly the good old basic stuff so nothing special there, but it does have some custom sprites. They are few, but are well used. I love how cute the astronauts look. They have no right to be this cute for a horror game!

Sound: It is creepy and if I am not mistaken, it is actually real sound that planets and other space objects make. I thought it was a nice touch, but other than that, there is little else to mention here. The game sounds decent.

Gameplay: Well, this is an rpgmaker game so you know what to expect. The game has no combat per say, but it has a few puzzles, choices and an tension filled sequence if you chose not to abandon your fellow astronauts to the
deadly mine flood.
The cave section is filled with instant death traps, which didn't bother me that much, but the dim lighting, the cramp space and the myriad of look alike corridors of the maze lost me.

Story: You play as a space refugee, eking an existence on the moon of Ganymede. The game does a great job of making you feel the sense of desperation and nervousness that the characters feel. There are genuinely touching moments in the story, but... The story of this game is both its best and worst aspect. It has really cool theme and ideas, but the game is so short that you cannot really attach to the characters. Yes you do feel for them, but they pass on before you really get to know them.
The kill bots taken over by even deadlier space mold are a cool idea though...

To sum this up, it is a game that does what it says it will do. It's a really short sci-fi horror game about half an hour or so, although I wished it would have been longer.

Oah!
Thank you for the review!
And I am sorry I could not make it longer, although I had it planned so.
Hey!
No problem, this could have been a 5/5 for me but the game's length really drags it back.
Anyways,
Keep up the good work!
You can always try to improve it or make a better sequel if you like it. It has plenty of potential, so I'm rooting for you :)

Thank you, I had a pretty shitty day, but your comment made it a bit better :)
I don't know if I'll touch it again for now, but I do plan to return to those ideas in the future.
