This is definitely fascinating game, I originally watched a Let's Play of it on FlareBlitz Youtube channel. He got stuck but the story was interesting so I wanted to find out what happened. Fortunately, this was around the time it was translated and you posted it here. I have thoroughly enjoyed this game's characters, lore and story. The grammar in some sections could be refined a little bit more. Although there is a technical problem with some of the songs, their audio cuts in and out occasionally. The songs this happens to are as followed:
The song that plays when Yotsuba is exploring the ruins for the Death-Walking ritual, The song named "green", "hikarinoyukusakihe" and "itukabokuragakierumaeni" in the song folder. There maybe more but these are one that I remember.

Hello, hello, KazukiT126.

Thank you for playing the game. Yes, I'm well aware that the grammar needs refining, hence why I need ppl to play and tell me which one needed fixing.

About the technical problem, I'll look into it. Need to find which one went wrong. But don't worry, when I finish fixing them, I'm usually making an announcement about things that I fix. :)

There you go! I've updated the game files! Thanks for the heads up! :)

I love this game so much for it's unique out of sequence story telling and meta elements. I never expected the twists or that I was going to see not 1, not 2, but THREE whole end credits. Best 5 hours I spent this year! Thanks as always for your translations! (I also played Spiegel Ei and Mochiko and just....every game you translate is just *chef's kiss* amazing)

Hello, hello, Aishin.

Never expected a famed dev such as you would be complimenting me here, thank you!
I always liked your game. Always been your *secret* fan.
I'm sorry if I left the ending credits untranslated. (Since the dev made them in WebM format files, I had no idea how to edit it. -.-' )
So you are the translator of the version FlareBlizted played, right?
This game is truly a hidden gem with its unique storytelling and mechanics. The art and music make it even more glorious. It is so interesting that I decided to translate it into my mother language (my first RPG Maker translation). I translated from the Japanese version and used your first translation as reference. I also published my translation on a FB group in Oct 2021 too. Thank you for your awesome work!
I've also been your secret fan since Spiegel Ei. Always look forward for your next translation.

Hello, hello, Shigure3011.

Yes, I am the translator of Ruthless Smile played by FlareBlizted.
Back then I felt my translation aren't good enough with so many mistakes and inexperience of using RPGmakerMV, so I delete that one. I apologize if everyone is no longer able to find the game via the link provided by FlareBlizted.
I also need to apologize if there's still some wrong grammar within the game even with this re-translated version.
And thanks for liking the game I've translated. :)

If I may throw my two cents into this, you could always ask FlareBlitz to update the link in the description.

Both this game and FlareBlitz are hidden gems that need more attention. It's too bad FlareBlitz is quitting YouTube, but if it makes his life better then that's okay.

Hello again, KazukiT126.

That is a good idea! I've asked Mr. Flare to renew the link as well as give a suggestion to him to make a comment on my game page by linking his video. That way, those who view my game page may also view his video! Thank you, KazukiT126. :)
I just finished this game, and it is amazing! The story is superb, and the play element, while is lacking, is truly unique and satisfying.
I want to ask regarding the game ending,
Is there no Good/happy end, but only the End? It is strange to me that while Shiki is not saved, she still appears as future reincarnation

Hello, hello, mokkun,

Thank you for playing the game translation. You can always help me improve my grammar if you find something is lacking. I'm not an English native, so I can only improve what I'm lacking from you the players.

No, they're all saved. Remember how the God-Unraveling Ritual work. God needed human hands to sever their bonds with humans. "By pulling God's hand" doesn't mean 'pulling', it can also be meant pushing, as long as they hold God's hand. In the last scene, Ururu used all her last strength to push Shiki while holding her hands before dying of blood loss. So, Shiki is saved despite being 'forced'. It is also iconic since Shiki does the same to Ururu when she's still a God.
hi, tysm for translating this game.
this is the best rpgmaker game i've ever played.

but it seems that many youtubers are stuck on (part 5) because they got stabbed by "Shiki" and then cannot grab "???" hand. and when they dies the clues is kinda confusing. it says to go to "Ruins of Tears" before Ururu is forgotten. they thought it's the Ruins of Tears from (part 1) and they go repeated whole (part 1) and just stuck there because of confusion. because the forest on (part 5) is named "Ruins of Tears" and the place on (part 1) is also "Ruins of Tears"

for those who stuck there, the solution is just don't interact with anything after the game forced you to do a data save on (part 4). just go out from the building and then go straight to the forest entrance above. you should be able to progress. because on that moment if you interact with someone, Ururu will be forgotten by everyone and ended getting stabbed by "Shiki"

Hello, hello, Habta.

Thank you for playing the game.
Yes, I'm aware of that fact. That is why I've added "hints" on this page. :)
The True Ending was hard to get, but it was worth every second! =w=
Also nice to see one of Yakaro's games getting translation, I've saw them in Freem.ne and they're so good~

Hello, hello, ximsol182.

Thank you for playing the game. I hope you enjoy my translation of the game, and also apologize for whether there are so much incorrect grammar or typos within the game.

Yes, it was one of the best and also the longest story he ever made.

Oh no man, I think you have done a fantastic job. Just giving my thought on the game in general; it certainly is different from most other games as the focus is story telling rather than puzzle solving.
Looking forward to your future works. Cheers.
