Rina is an ordinary town girl with one extraordinary problem.

Her father sold her soul to a demon.

To save herself she is given one offer: buy her soul back by collecting one million gold. It is a seemingly impossible task that forces Rina to run the derelict tavern she inherited from her mother. With only a single year to pay off her debt, Rina must do her very best to bring the tavern back to its former glory - with the help of some friends, of course!

***

My Father Sold My Soul For One Million Gold?! is a light-hearted management game about a tavern owner and her crippling debt. Taking place over four seasons, throughout the year Rina must adapt, employ workers and handle new types of customers.

Taking place over the course of twenty weeks, each week is divided into two phases: management and business. In the management phase, Rina has the opportunity to go into town to buy supplies, purchase upgrades for her tavern, or train workers (including herself). The seasons affect prices and may bring bad weather that could shut down parts of the town!

In the business phase the player must assign available workers to arriving customers by considering their skill levels and stamina to maximize profits. Keep in mind the preferences of specific characters to maximize profits and watch out for damages that could lower the tavern's reputation! As new customers arrive each season, your management skills will be further put to the test to wring out the greatest amount of profit!

The game is occasionally interspersed by light visual-novel style cutscenes involving the various characters that come to help her, providing a look into Rina's day-to-day life. Can Rina and her cast of unlikely friends succeed in saving her soul? Or will she fail to meet her deadline?

Estimated gameplay length: About one hour

This game is made for the Seasons of RMN V Event.

Version 1.8.2 released

After some feedback, we've decided to greatly reduce the difficulty of the game.

The new updates are as follows:
- Wage and wage increase per season are greatly reduced
- The starting money is now 20k gold
- Rina starts at lv 3 Maintenance; Mish starts at lv 3 Bartending

These updates should make the game a lot easier to win now.

Thanks, Decky XD
Hello, recently I stream this game on y*utube and found a lot of issues:
1. Worker wage is too much, and it keeps getting increased each season
2. I don't have time and money to increase my skill level and tavern level (building maintenance, advertisement, etc)
3. I only managed to play until summer (second season) and after Austin join, my reputation decreasing instead of increasing for unknown reason. I fixed broken stuff and serve each customer correctly but everything I did decrease my rep.
4. The goal for each season is too high imo.

Thank you and sorry for my bad English.

Hi! Thanks for playing the game! I have a few tips that might help you with your issues.

A lot of times, it is better to take a big risk and get upgrades like Furnishing or Advertisement as soon as possible. The Fireplace and better menu items also affect income quite a lot, which may help you get enough money to quickly buy the upgrades. I recommend getting one of the upgrades by Week 3 of Spring.

In some seasons like Summer, the negative reputation you get will be a lot higher. This means you will always lose reputation unless you have bought the Repairs upgrade or have a high level in Maintenance. I recommend getting characters to level 4 or 5 in at least one main skill as fast as you can.

In general, the key to winning the game is timing when you need to train or upgrade to get the maximum profit during the Business Phase. Most things that increase income (like upgrades, menu items, skill levels) multiply the income greatly and you get a lot more even if the cost to do so might be higher. In fact, the reason why we made the wage and goal gradually increase is because, if done correctly, players can gain way too much money too quickly. Spring and Summer are the most difficult segments of the game and if you manage to get past them you'd probably be reaching the seasonal goal long before the season is over.

I'm really sorry if the game has been difficult to complete. It was hard for us to balance it just right and in the end we made it the way that it is rather than have it be too easy.
Thanks for the help dev, finally manage to beat this game. GBU!
