A Decent Enough Game

I'm inclined to agree with the other two lower reviews, as I found that what hurt this the most was the story and the controls. However, I don't think it was a terrible game, just not great. Part of the reason I downloaded to give this a try was because it's supposed to have a story, but the story was way too simple and boring, that I found myself skipping over it. For people not interested in the story, there's also the "Endless" option as well.

The controls were pretty confusing, although with more practice I'm sure I can get them down pat. But what I can't understand is why the controls even had to be confusing. Another Tetris game that I downloaded for RPG Maker simply uses the arrows to move left and right, up to rotate, down for a faster dropping. This game has you using z and x, if you press 1 it's auto drop, down speeds it up, and in the end it just made the gameplay feel awkward.

Another thing that might have helped is more variety. Unfortunately, it's Tetris, and no matter how you dice it the format generally remains the same.

But as I've said, it's not all bad, once you get the controls down pat. The music was catchy, and the "Endless" option is a great time waster when you're looking for something that doesn't take much time and effort.
