The main download that's up now is the one without the gamebreaking bug. If you downloaded the game earlier than the 18th, you've got the bugged one.
My game crashes when I sleep at the inn at the first village and when I try to take a nap. Anyone know why? I downloaded the game 30 minutes ago.
No idea. It doesn't do that to anyone else. Give it another try.
It crashes on many inn's after the night is over, so I use a cottage when I need to heal up. I am stuck on the possible final area after you get the airship. I only can find one key in one of the 6 treasure chests (rest are mimic's) but I can only open one door and won't let me open any more. Anyone had a similar problem?
Hello Lance, I am just a random person who wants to thank you for continuing the dream that is Chrono Trigger. I also would like to do a review on your game If can and post it on youtube soon after I complete it! I am currently at the part where you just get the Rune and Vedic Blades and am on my way inside of Dalton's Castle.. I must say I was very impressed with the story and gameplay overall! ( Also surprised SE hasnt sent you any mail yet lol) Any way, keep up the good work! You just earned a new Fan!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy it! If you are going to do a youtube review, you can send it to me at:

Again, thank you very much! :D
Lol I see someone is a Magus fan... HE IS SUPER HARD!! LOL

I like that though, it took me a lot of tries to beat Magus when I first played CT. You have scored a few points in difficulty nostalgia! lol maybe we should write an walkthrough to the game xD. This game is better than alot I have played on consoles recently! Great thing about it is how attached to the story I am, I'm actually eager to learn more rather than just playing to finish, I did not expect that lol. Also for the review could you tell me how I could record some of my gameplay and put a voice over on it?

Thanks Again Lance.
This game is pretty sweet. I've been hook to the story ever since I started playing.
Wow. Thanks a lot for the feedback, guys!

I want to congratulate you personally for expanding Chrono Trigger while trying to connect CT to CC on what we already know as Chrono Fans. It's up to us gamers to expand on the story where the official team left off because of the lack of support and persuasion the team doesn't have at the moment. Whos knows? Maybe Square Enix where can back to CT,CC one day.
Maybe Square Enix can comeback to this one day*

Typo correction
I have a question. What made you decide to expand on CT to connect CC? I'm kinda curious.
I have a question, someone knows because no one can hear the music in the game at first whether they listened to but not.please i need help how to solve
If its MIDIs try checking the volume on the SW Synth slider. Sometimes RPG maker causes it to be muted.
I enjoyed this game since it was a Chrono game, but I can't say it was really really fun. The new setting seemed kind of boring and came over more as a story excuse to not have to remake all of the old locations. Some of the maps were pretty bland and straightforward too.

The battles were alright but I missed double and triple techs, and battle difficulty was really unbalanced. For example, when you fight those blue robots with Lucca and Robo, they can deal 500 damage in one hit with a magic attack, which at that moment took away half the health of my characters. Yet the normal monsters in the same dungeon died in one hit. That required some grinding and even then I had to use magic to survive. So yeah you could have balanced this more.

The story became boring for me when Dalton turned into a freaking dragon, but it already annoyed me before. I can't always understand why people make certain choices, and I can't say I like what you made of Dalton.

Well, anyway, I enjoyed it as a tribute to the Chrono series, and it is a complete game after all, one of the few complete Chrono fangames. You did a good job.

I assure, every gripe is legit. While the story wasn't very strong, I feel it sets up for the sequel,'Chrono Trigger II: Time's Eclipse'.

In a short while, I'm going to rehaul CA. That version will be loads better, and improve on the story.
I sure hope so. I don't mean to be cruel, but I stopped playing this after about 30 minutes. The main reason was the awful mapping, errors, and the absolutely useless dialogue. I'll explain...

The mapping probably doesn't need much explanation, as almost every map was square shaped with no flow to the tiles. Grass abruptly ended instead of using a rounded or styled auto tile. There were several errors in the first 30 minutes. The guards in the first castle will repeat their dialogue and move event over and over if you step on the space that triggers them again and again. The woman, Tanya, runs around like she's on speed after she wakes you up. The arrow that points up in shops has a graphical glitch. The teleport takin you into the first town puts you about four spaces right of the actual entrance. These are just a few.

The dialogue is absolutely the worst part and is the one thing that made me say, "OK, enough of this." FIVE NPCs in two locations talking about flowers? Oof.

I wish I could have stayed interested long enough to get farther into the game, because I like what I see in the videos and other players' reactions, but I apologize, I just couldn't. I am looking forward to a revamped version, though. So please please continue to work on this, Lance. It could be really great.

P.S. Have you thought about using XP or VX for a revamp? You'd be able to mimic CT battle styles with Atoa's CBS, I think.
I can't say I'm too fond of VX and XP. As soon as Chapter 5 of CT2, I'm going to work on the revamped version. Again, I understand everything that you're saying. I hope you'll give CT2 a chance later on, because CT2 isn't a remake of an uber-shitty game, which may have been the issue in the first place.

However, I highly appreciate the honest feedback. It helps me improve more than praise does.
