The story of the game revolves around a group of beings known as the "Seraphim". These beings
go from planet to planet advancing the life on it and modifying the way life evolves, then after
thousands of years of this process they manipulate the life they modified into killing each other
in large scale wars.

One of the most significant modifications to life they do is known as the "Gate". Without the
Gate the Memories of any living organism that dies will simply merge back into the universe as
energy.

With the Gate a living organism is given a soul which will be used as a blank slate to be
enhanced using a special array created by the Seraphim.

The Gate Array:

The Array is composed of 7 main points, and it's called a gate because only 2 points may be
opened at one time on a normal person, but other points can still be opened or closed
by the person.

The two points that are activated usually are determined on the area the person is born and
they define their race on the planet.

Still alive.

Yep, still working on it.

The demo is done and the testers responses to it have been pretty good, but before releasing it I wanted to try and find someone who could make some music for it.

I don't really know how to ask this, because I'm too picky with music and my inspiration is basically old S/Nes and Game boy games, so my preference in music is very simple.

My idea was to have the person making the music play through the demo, then hear their opinions on the creation/placement of the music. This of course might be too time consuming for someone who just wants to make music, but I feel that in the end it will help a lot in the creation of the music.

If you can make music and want to help, let me know, or if anyone knows of a better way to go about finding/making music for a game also let me know.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day.

Looking forward to a download when do think you will have one?
Thank you for your comments.

And I hope to have a demo available soon within 2 to 3 months.
I hope everything will go well~
I'd like to see the story mode so bad =w=
I wanna see some more in game screen shots please!
The menu looks a lot like Star Ocean: Till The End Of Time... Good Job by the way!
I can't wait to play this!
I can't wait to play this!
Why doesn't Odin have a beard? ):
Because it's just a name and although he shares the same as the Norse God Odin it is clearly not him.
Weird, I did not know the ancient gods were females.
Would you quit randomly antagonizing people already?
It's a typo man if you're referring to his post.
Btw, Gilgamesh is King of Uruk, Bahamut is a giant fish, Odin is pantheon god of poetry and war. These are just names. It's like don't name your kid Jesus because he's our savior and it's blasphemous to use his name or something like that :/

I mean this is like Fate/Stay Night, how would you react towards a blonde Gilgamesh that looks like a bishie boy and throws massive amounts of sword and still liked by countless fans? It's just a name.
The battle demo certainly shows off the hard work you've put into this so far! I REALLY dig the menu, very pretty and nicely laid out. And the battle system is a nice twist on traditional RPG combat.

One concern I have, is that the battles felt like they moved kinda slow. I don't know if it's just because the monsters have too much HP or what, but it felt like they went on a bit too long for simple random encounters.

I know it's just a demo and just starting out, but I'm hoping we get to see a whole bunch of spells and mechanics that revolve around the grid setup of the battles. You know, such as spells with an area-of-effect (strikes nearby enemies), or spells that hit a row/column, being able to pull/push an enemy away, etc etc. The 'bind' spell that locks an enemy in place is a nice start to working with the grid, and I hope to see much more of that sort of thing in a future release!

Anyway, this is looking even more promising. Keep at it, dude!
@narcodis: Thank you very much for your comment.

You pretty much guessed a lot of things that are possible with the grid such such as Draw-In and Knockback to push or pull enemies towards and away from you.

As for battles, there are many approaches to it. Some can be slower and others can be faster. Also I needed to factor in abilities that enhance Attack Power (which even 1 point can screw up the balance). These were not in the demo so your point is very valid about the battles being slower. That is why there is also Explorer and Hunter Modes by pressing CTRL key on the map (Included in the Battle System Demo). I explained it in a blog entry a while back but to put it simply it makes it so the troops you defeat wont pop up again allowing you more and more exploring as you defeat more troops.

Again thank you very much, your post is really encouraging.
