There are 4 tiers of weapon mastery:
1st Tier
2nd Tier
3rd Tier
4th Tier
The 4th tier being the highest and 1st tier being the lowest.
Reaching 1st tier shows one star, 2nd tier two stars, 3rd tier shows three stars and 4th tier shows one big star.

UPDATE!
I grouped revolers and magnums into one category and added Heavy weapons as a new weapon! Heavy weapons include Light Machine Guns, Grenade Launchers and Rocket Launchers, as much as I would like to split them into more categories I don't think it would be necessary as there would be that many heavy weapons in the game anyway.

Would you be able to do something like this for me for the weapon projectile system? I have a hell of a time with projectiles but if I had a base project that was done right (I've tried some crappy ones) then I could actually do a decent game.

I'm not sure what you're looking for in a gun fighting tutorial/engine but I built a quick the tech demo for a friend on here that if you'd like, can download and give a shot.
author=Ashes of EmeraldNot for a while I'm afraid I still have to do some tedious tasks such as the item pictures for the new inventory system and I still have to code the equipping gear part of the system. Currently I'm working but hopefully I get to work on it sometime next week.
When will be a demo out? I really want to try this.
