The Princess Blog
I haven't updated in a while, so here's a bit of a progress report on Linus.
After a period of inactivity due to personal stuff, I've been making some great, great progress on the game. Not only that, but I'm also having a lot of fun creating/testing the game, which is always a plus. Some people are really good game creators and can easily spend an entire day working on their projects, but I'm not like that, unfortunately. I tend to get stressed out when writing, mapping, ect. But lately, I've just been having so many interesting ideas for the game that I honestly can't wait to get home from work every day to open up the VX editor.
Oh, and that's another thing. Linus is staying as a VX game. I honestly don't know anything about Ace, and the game has undergone so many changes and start-overs that I think the best course is for me to just stick with what I know.
Also, if you guys missed the previous blog post, Max McGee is helping me out with the combat system and balancing. This leaves me a lot more time to focus on the storyline, mapping, and other gameplay stuff.
As for a release date for the next demo, I'm not sure. I want the next demo to be pretty substantial, with hours of gameplay and such, so there's going to be a lot of work until a demo is ready.
That's about it. Thanks to all of my subscribers and everyone else who has shown interest in this project!
