All font problems should be dealt with by disabling ClearType. In order to do so:

If you are using Vista:

* Right click on a blank area of your Vista desktop
* Click personalize
* Click Window Color and Appearance
* Click the link at the bottom of the page that says “Open classic appearance properties for more color options”
* Click the effects button
* Either uncheck the box that says “Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts” or choose standard from the drop down list rather than the default ClearType
* Click OK
* Click Apply
* Click OK again and you are done

If you are using Windows XP:

Try installing this: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/ClearTypePowerToy.mspx , going to Control Panel, double clicking on ClearType settings, and ticking off the "Enable font smoothing" box in the Advanced tab. This worked for some people who seemed to have the same problem when I released the Spanish version a while back.
