Made by Mewd and Blue Boo. A story detailing what happens when your average hero turns bad. A kingdom is struck with tragedy as, while the nation prepares for war, their most cherished hero decides to turn opportunistic and betrays them to join forces with the opposing army. With a silly send off of a dozen murders; the Kingdom of Prath has little choice but to hunt the turn coat down and terminate him before he has a chance to do more damage. Resources are tight, though, and the military can not spare adequate men to take down the ex-hero. Therefore, with much reluctance, General Balton chooses to contract several mercenaries to aid in the capture. You are one of those mercenaries, obviously.

Hey feels nice to be the first to leave a comment....I liked the game. Are you going/have you made the second one yet? I'm looking forward to it.
Well, I'd like to play, but the regular file won't run (RTP error) and the link to the RTP-independent file is broken. If you fix it, drop me a line; this is definitely one I want to play.
Hey I remember playing this ages ago... gonna play it again..! :-)

My thoughts:

Dear god was this was an awesome experience!

The fact that the game is really short, yet in the small 4 or so hours I spent with the game, I got to know a lot about pretty much every character in the game, and yet it made me quite thirsty to find out more, especially about the boss. It's a shame this project was never continued.

Oh, and btw, I loved exploring around this this game, looking for both specific targets, and treasure. That's a hard thing to pull off in a 4 hour game, so my hats off to the developer for that.

My personal regrets: Besides the fact that this series never got a continuation... Just wish that I had found the last target, as well as the second heavy stone which was why I had to fight him with the boss, but I love what I did find, like..I wanna say 3 different weapons, and a some speed related boots, which I gave to my healer.

Thank you for the entertaining experience!
Its a short game but i loved it especially the part with the final fantasy music of course lol. But no it was good writing and an enjoyable mini rpg. I really wanted to see a sequel by the end of it. Thank you friend.
An interesting story. I'll try to play it.

How the hell did this get through the queue with only two sc- oh, it's a real old game. I'm gonna see what's up.
It's a bit weird this project can't be reviewed considering it still has a valid download. Albeit you'll need to add the harmony.dll file, set the game to launch in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2, as well as add a bunch of files from a game like "Chase for Divinity" in order to get it to work. Though which files you need to add isn't exactly clear to me so I basically just copied over everything.

I would name specific files, but the game crashes before they can even be named.

I realize that nobody cares but here you go!
The game definitely is interesting so far. Not bad good sir.
I give help because I am a nice pup.
