Huh?

I'm reviewing possibly the most self contradicting game possible.

When I downloaded this, I thought it was going to be something like Galaga, only with words and stuff. obviously, I was wrong. It was exactly the opposite of what I was suspecting. Instead, it turn out to actually be a text based type of thing (I thought both ideas where good, don't know why I expected the first one) with a frantic and quick type of game play. You had to type blam for missiles, fire for lasers, guard for shield and so on. And I, a crappy typist, didn't do very well. It was a very good concept, right up there with Speak No Evil (<3) and final fantasy 5. But, alas, it is no use to me since I can't type very well.

Graphic wise, there is very little to say, except that every time something showed up it was usually an eye burner compared to the black background (Couldn't you have had green lines or something to get rid of such a bright contrast?!).

This game didn't have/ need story.

It was pretty difficult, as mentioned in the first paragraph, but it could probably get better later on. The obstacles were a nice touch but seemed a bit overshadowed by combat. There wasn't a boring moment though (as if there could be), unlike some RPGs where hit a wall and have to grind.

....This was a pretty atypical review due to the lack maps, story and character, but it played okay.
It gets a three, pretty average, but lovely concept.

A text-based shoot-em-up... That actually sounds pretty amusing.
