Battle sprites look like field sprites, but edited into tons of extra poses.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

All battle sprites were made by me. They are the same size as the field sprites, because I find it very distracting when they're not. They're not identical to the field sprites, though, they use different poses and custom attack animations.

That's how it is with FF6 dude. It's usually because monsters are a single sprite, so more detail is put into them. Characters, on the other hand, are animated.

You might as well ask why you're allowed to enter NPCs houses and steal their treasure chests without them saying anything about it.
