You almost nailed it.

The ones with two swords attack with multi-hitting or poison physical attacks, the ones with four swords cast elemental shields, the red casters attack with lightning magic, and the blue casters heal and cast single-sleep spells.

That said, I died horribly under the weight of sheer numbers. Do not fall into pits!
