Bad news!
It didn't go well. From the looks of it, I'll get a no.

Good news!
I got a cooler fan for my laptop. Now it will stop beeping randomly!

now to eat an ice cream and decide whether to work on this or not. (Probably still work on this and then give up and then work on it again, but who knows.)

Work on it when you can, as long as you're still having fun with it. Even if you have to give up your hobbies for a bit you'll be able to come back to them someday.
