First look at the summer season

Hey there, friends and farmers!
It's been a little while since I left an update here, but rest assured I've been working on the summer season and am on track to release it within a month or two. I don't have an official date yet, but here's a look at Sugar Blossom Village in the summertime:
Could those be... Sugar Blossom trees?
The new season will be very similar to spring in terms of gameplay -- you should be able to carry your old save files over and continue to work on your same farm. You can expect to see some new things as well, including festivals, character outfits, romance events, and maybe even some new villagers depending on how you play!
I really appreciate all the feedback I've gotten since the first season was released, and have worked hard to implement some of your suggestions into the next download. However, I couldn't possibly add everything I'd like to (or the game will never be finished) so I want to apologize if your specific comments weren't addressed. The line has to be drawn somewhere, and I hope you'll still enjoy playing.
Thanks again to everyone for your enthusiastic support! I'll try to post regular updates as the summer season gets closer to release.

Ha, I'm glad you're excited! Hopefully it's even better than spring and hopefully you'll be able to play in the very near future.
Sagitar please don't take this the wrong way, but if you don't have it ready in the VERY near future, I'll be ok with that. I'm working my way through a backlog of Contest entries and if WD Summer comes out I'll be in a quandary...and I really need to get some sleep!

Hmmm, I can actually use it as a reward. 'Ok, I'll play one more of these short contest entries with little or no grasp of the English language and then I can spend some time in Sugar Blossom'. Yes, that works.

That's a joke, and actually quite a few of the contest entries are really good, some are outstanding, so it's been a labour of love to play and review them. BTW that's down to you, WD was my first review here and I got some good feedback about it via PM which made me more comfortable continuing.
