Pugna is a little project I've been working on for about two months now.

It's a turn based one-on-one fighting game. It features A.I. that makes intelligent decisions and a system designed to provoke thought and excitement, or so I hope.

I'm also using the music of E.S. Posthumus, which is amazing in every way.

New System finished!

I've uploaded a brand new demo featuring a cinematic cut scene that'll play at the beginning of the game and a battle using the new system. If the new system is confusing to you, there's also a help file in the folder.

This really isn't tactical... at all. I got through the whole game spamming attack except for the dragon which I used magic when I heard it was doubled, but then my attack was doubled so I just went back to spamming attack. This isn't fun. There's no real balance or complexity here, even rock paper scissor duels have more depth.

Also bug: if the sun/hiddenHP battle ends with the dark tint, it stays throughout the game.
Any ideas as to how I can make it better?
