Yes, I had thought of it. Kaustin Yar is supposed to be a Soviet Area 51. Howeverk, my military facility is in Siberia. But maybe the secret was moved there after the cold war.

Well, usually what military bases contain (besides the usual military "stuff") are prototypes for weapons and/or defense systems.

So, you could have a prototype for a Strategic Defense Initiative type system:

Thisdecision is quite tough because this seems to be the thing that will reveal what these agents are trying to do, or at least that is what the game hinted at.

Maybe there's a translator for the tablets because aliens landed there and accidentally left it behind when they left so they built an extremely secure building? Just a suggestion though.
