Eons ago, the world and all of its splendors were created by the magnificent and all-powerful being simply known as the "Creator." It wove the threads of life, and upon creating the planet of Tsufanubra, spotted it with its most cherished life-form: man.
Having gifted mankind with all of its blessing and necessities, the Creator simply watched as man forged his own path in life, and over the decades crafted himself in to a race of truly wondrous individuals numbering in the millions.
The Creator, however, grew tired of this creation, and thus gave life to three heavenly Kings to watch over and monitor the world in his stead. One of these Kings, Celes, wanted more than the Creator could ever possibly give her: she wanted its power--the divine power of creation. Upon being rejected of her request, the mighty guardian revolted against her creator and all of his creations, and was tossed from her perch atop the heavens in to a realm of purgatory; an island resting between the earth and heavens, but far enough away from either that they'd taunt her position for all of eternity.
Countless years have passed since that fated day, and now that island prison hanging in purgatory between Heaven and Earth will become the destination for four youths seeking revenge against a murderous man. Their journey, however, may lead them on an adventure that could reshape the very foundation of all that was, and all that could ever be...
Eternal Paradise is a dungeon crawler RPG complete with an epic fantasy story told In Media Res. Borrowing ideas heavily from earlier RPGS, it is void of puzzles of any kind and deals solely with exploration and enemy encounters. Due to this, the game bolsters a hefty challenge suitable only for those who would prefer a more difficult and thought-provoking experience than what may be found in most mainstream games of the same genre.

CloseOkay, I'll try re-downloading it. Thanks for trying to help. I'm sure I'll figure it out. Sweet game regardless, even though I've only made a little ways into it.
EDIT: I've re-downloaded but the problem persists. Another thing to note is that when I am booting the game it seems that a good 80% or so of the files have duplicates that replace the originals. I don't know if that is supposed to happen or if that would have anything to do with the deletion of my save data, but I thought maybe it was worth pointing out. I'll search for some kind of solution elsewhere on the site and let you know what I find in case someone else reports a similar problem.

That's.... VERY strange. But the files replacing duplicates could simply be because you already have the game installed, or are extracting them into the same location? That's my guess. Other than that, I have NO FRIGGIN' IDEA what to tell me! And that irritates me, 'cause this shouldn't be happening...

Gotta tell you, i've just started playing this but I am having fun with this game already. From what i've seen, it's really good so far. I might do a review on this if I get really far. *Approved by me*

Woo-hoo! Although like I (may) have said in the past, I wish I had to add even a little more map variety to the game. But oh well, what's done is done. It is how it is. Lol. Glad to get your approval! And I'm surprised to see that this game has 49 Subscribers. Wowza.

There's not much I can say to that other than to keep on truckin'. There's no real way to get stuck or puzzles of any kind, so I'm sure you'll find the exit(s) sooner or later.

Nope. Besides, it's impossible to miss the bosses. They're either scripted events of enemies blocking narrow hallways. Lol. Which area are you in again? The maze of purple corridors? I don't think that's quite the end, but if you're where I think you are, then the exit might be to the North-West. I think.

Finally found a passage I hadn't seen before. I just got done fighting the old guy last night, and the one kid absorbs the old man. Now all i have to do is make sure I have enough potions & ethers, etc in order to win the final battle

Awesome! Glad to see that people are still downloading this. After I'd completed it and had a friend run through it over 8 or so times, I kind of lost interest and almost forgot that it existed. Although I wish I had to do more with the maps, to be honest... But oh well!

Uh. So... What happened to acts 1 and 2? I downloaded the game and I start off with levels in the 40s and I'm on Venaitura Island and I have no backstory or anything. I'm now in the above mentioned purple-tiled corridor room after the cave trembled... and, well I'm confused. The enemey encounters are extremely easy, gold is abundant, and I find myself skipping battles and text hoping that I can start at the beginning of the game. Am I missing something?

There ARE no Acts 1 and 2! The story unfolds as you go through the game, and everything is revealed sort of backwards; you'll start in the middle, have the major events of the characters' past revealed, and then you'll move on to the end. I wanted to do something different, and what I ended up with tends to be either hit or miss with most people. Some people really liked the story, and others hated it; likewise for the gameplay. However, the latter is what Eternal Paradise is usually praised for, especially once you make it towards the middle of the game.

Are you certain? It's working perfectly fine for me. You might have to make a few extra clicks, but the download is still perfectly accessible.

If you want to make your game available here you should make another download mirror (es:mediafire), i looked for it everywhere but the only available is this one. Sorry, folks, but I don't have access to the internet on my computer for the time being! It's supposed to be set up on the 12th of this month, so I'll see what I can do then!
