I tried the new version, got through the first maze, talked to the miner, completed the first quest, used the teleporter, went down to the next room, found myself back at the scene where Lucas says we have to run away from the large robot, and...my man got stuck.

The first quest you can finish is the yard of the month quest, no matter what you do... and you're talking about something that happens way later in the game.

When are you going to make a new version of this game? You said you were going to make another?
At the West Kingdom, where I'm supposed to fight Sanchez, the game freezes all of a sudden. I'm not sure if its the game or my computer. I even downloaded it again but the damn knight keeps freezing one step away from turning!
12/29/14: Still happening. BTW I'm a girl, just in case and a whole bunch of people keep calling me a 'he' instead of a 'she' except people from the kingdom. And now, I just found out, that I can't warn the damn king of Flosmattis cause he keeps asking me about the freaking prince!! Sorry, I'm really irritated right now.

I can’t launch the game, it’s telling me that RGSS102E.dll cannot be found. According to the Game.ini file it’s a library required for the game to run, but it’s nowhere in the package I downloaded and I have no idea where it would be or where I’d get it from. This is something that should’ve been mentioned in “READ BEFORE YOU PLAY.doc”.
And if there’s a third-party launcher of some kind that I need for a lot of RPGMaker games, then may I ask what the point of it is? What’s the problem with distributing standalone applications, like Game Maker does?
