This is a two player game.

As in a regular hide-and-seek game, there is a SEEKER and a HIDER. The hider hides, and must reach the angel without being caught by the seeker. The seeker must catch the hider before he reaches the angel. That's pretty much it.

The game concept is based on the old Atari game Sneak n' Peek. I made this game back in 2004, and its original version was in Portuguese. This is an English version though there isn't much text, anyway.

Map passability may look a bit awkward, but that's because everything was designed to be a potential hiding place.

Player 2's controls may take some getting used to. The best way I see to play this game is having the seeker stay on the right of the keyboard, and the hider on the left. Seeker uses regular arrows, hider uses numbers. Numbers 3/4/5 work exactly like arrows left/down/right. The only actual awkwardness is using number 2 as up.

Don't play this game alone, it's no fun.

Please, don't compare this to tic-tac-toe.
the idea is very interesting. I'm not sure how, but the gameplay could be better in some ways i think.
This game is just like...

Nah, just kidding. It's interesting and different...

Exactly...
I'm four years too late, but the control scheme should have been

5 = Up
3 = Right
2 = Down
1 = Left

so it's the same as using the arrow keys or WASD

Problem is keys 2, 4, 6 and 8 are also the main arrow keys. If I did as you suggested, pressing 2 would make both characters go down, for example.
I assume this has nothing to do w/ Dorothy.
I found out about this game thanks to Ukrainian translation. Interesting short game. It's strange to play alone, but it's still fun for at least few minutes.

An error occurs after entering third level, at least on my computer. Luckily, changing the name of the chipset helped to solve this problem.

Glad you liked it!
And yeah, it's a game to be played by two players side-by-side inspired by a veeeeeeery old Atari game... back from a time when people actually met in person to play games!

That bug is probably related to the translation, not sure it ever happened with the original version!
