Starting out as a carefree fool, Cristophe Deveraux never expected his career as a monster hunter to turn into more than just a livelihood. With his smart-aleck cousin Carolyn as partner, they battled various monsters, solving supernatural quests that were way beyond their academical know-how.

Along the course of adventure, Cristophe and Carolyn made friends with some extraordinary people: Robert Chandler, a ranger trying to make peace with his past; Paolo Marvellini, a dwarf priest struggling to protect his family from the conspiracy around him; and many more heroes in the land, all with their unique personalities, abilites (and problems).

As finale, all those heroes were pitted together in an ultimate quest to prevent the return of Vordac the Dark OverLord - an ancient evil whose soul was sealed inside the godly sword, Deathblade Kraal'shazar.

Will the heroes stop Vordac for good? Will they become the prophesied Paladins of Legend who hinder the ultimate evil from plaguing the good, magical world of Terra Everna? In this game episode, FireHeart Saga - the Third Cycle begins.

I hope someone is monitoring this board. I have run into a game lock up situation. I brought the dwarf to the Grand Trow and this Frei Val'shka starts a fight with me. I choose my actions and then the game just stops. I can see Christoph and Carolyn and Robert just bobbing there waiting for the fight but it never starts. I have restarted from my last save point but the same thing keeps happening. Help!

I have the same problem as this but is anyone still viewing these pages. I have tried every different download and transferred save files but the problem is still the same, so i cannot progress :(

I've come upon a problem...

In the Walthorn Guild in the second city, some npc came to block the exit of the hall... and now i'm stuck, without being able to exit or reset the chamber in order to exit.


Wait... which npc? They supposed to block the players at the city entrance, not the guild hall. If it's Baxter and Ellephar, try talking to them. A story event will occur and just play on. Are you playing on the EX version? Thanks.

I've beta-tested it many times, and tried to correct the bugs in the EX (Extended) Version. Hope you didn't tamper with the variables and such :p Care to submit your savegame to my e-mail? accenterprise-at-yahoo-dot-com so I can see the problem. Inform me if you did.

When I first met Frei Val'shka, none of the characters moved after beginning the battle (like Evilmumrah noted), but solved the problem by playing it on v5; I faced the problem again when the whack-a-mole game didn't work, and I played it on v5.

However, when I went inside the ice caverns, and after I hit the four switches, I ran into a group of goblins and the game gets stuck, but when I went to v5, Robert fights them but I find that the rest of party is gone. I saved over before that battle and I had to go to my last save file over again.



on second thought, in the ice caverns (scylla's chills), there's an event in which Robert fights alone. I think before V3, V5 or EX, when the ppl are gone, we must select the party from a special book / item and add them back (only 4 at a time, right).

Have you guys tried the EX Version? We've fixed the bugs, though (beta-tested again and again)

Arley: The one under the giant dragon statue is the bearded NPC, Heinrich. Just talk to him and the story will go forward.
We put NPCs and road blocks because some critiques suggested that we do.

Dom: You report at the guild, the middle counter to recap your mission and then go to the cashier on the right to claim your bounty. We'll simplify the guild administrations on the next version. It got carried away from the system in the novel :p

Evil: That's strange. We've beta-tested it again and again, the eventing is okay. Just make sure the "burden" on Cristophe is still there, okay!

MKnance: We sure have soundtracks for every occasion. As this is a one-man-army job, let's just hope that a developer with big bucks will make an enhanced version of this game.

Well I guess it is time to pack it in for this game. By switching between versions I managed to get all the way to Freidle but all it tells be now is that "Someone is recognized under the dragon". The only person I can talk to is the drunk Klaus and he simply says go to a library but anywhere I go it gives me the same message and if I leave it tells me I must wait in Freidle?

Another annoyance has been that in several places a NPC has blocked my exit from an area causing a game reset.

This could be a very good game if the bugs were fixed!!

I will try again later, I maybe.
Never mind --- I must have been using an older version of the game. Downloaded v. 5 and now it works. Although I did lose Robert's mass rally skill.

Does the story line contain voices because thats the type of game im looking for.
Please, can anyone help me? I'm really stuck in the game... i've picked the rat killing quest and i can't complete it. I kill all the rats in town, enter the storage house north, kill some more rats, confront the hamelin guy, get the flute, get out, kill all the rats again... and nothing. What do i have to do to complete this quest?

now that you mention it, i just beta-tested up to there and found a bug - forgot to add an exit event.
Hmm...the instant death house didn't kill me, it only leaves me trapped in there. This meant to happen?
