The first three chapters are now uploaded. I'm probably never touching this again.

Feel free to Let's Try or review or whatever.

Man, are you serious? You're not going to finish this?

It's been too long. The systems are too rusty. Better options are available.

I loved it, too. I'm just trying to cope. :<
In commemoration, I will play this.

In fact, I already am.

I finished the first chapter. Fun stuff so far. The prince was a bastard with his sleep skills.
Looks good, and I was having fun, but that prince holy shit!

Playlog to where I quit-

+ Positive - Negative ~ Interesting (As stolen from... Craze.)

~ Wow! >100 MB! Must have a lot of music.
~ Two lots of readmes? Okay...
- Default title. =/ Kind of excused as it is a demo.
+ Great title music though!
+ The dialogue was pretty good.
+ And the intro is nice and quick.
- Did a dead guard just try to attack me?
+ Sleek battles!
+ Nice key tutorial!
- The iron chest is maybe a bit hard to see where it is placed, and the noble chest is too small.
- The turn order symbols move in confusing and cryptic ways.
+ Very nice tutorial. I've never seen a tutorial on battle tactics!
- That was a very long boss battle!
~ And I died.
+ A good level of challenge, if a bit long and a bit soon.
- No heal after boss?
- What the hell? Prince Horas one-shotted my entire party, took no damage from toxic(?), and just generally smashed up. If he's an optional boss, could you give an option! Like a "I don't think we need to go down here. It feels more dangerous. Should we go anyway?"
~ Oh, he isn't? Oh dear...
- How the hell do I beat him? He's godly!
QUIT- Sorry, but this guy's got one-hit attacks, sleep attacks, and when he starts weeding out your guys, multiple hits per turn. Am I missing something here? If I am, tell me and I'll try again.
(Just so you know, I tried it again, and got a little closer, but I'm not going to keep trying to fight this ridiculous difficulty curve.

Also I'd like to add to that that your bosses take forever! I mean the first boss of the game and my attacks were already doing next to nothing compared to their total HP. It's really demotivating, going from turn to turn, barely noticing the difference in remaining HP on the enemy.

Maybe I'll make a video about killing Horace. Did you use any attack items?

Yes, bosses are meant to be hard, but I've beat all of them several times.

Thanks for the overview.

I used a few bombs, but I'd already used the good ones on the big-shield guy because the game told me to, so I only had like 3 bombs.

EDIT: Okay, consider this critique back on! Turns out I'd forgotten to give thief-dude Gust, because I'm an idiot. TBh I think it's still a bit hard for the first 20 mins of the game but at least it isn't impossible any more!
This is probably your best game. It's the perfect challenge, and there's a lot of strategy involved at a surprisingly early stage. I didn't have any trouble with the bosses yet, but maybe I'm just too good! They are very well made, though. And your status effects were actually crucial to winning.

I had an issue with how the turn orders worked in the beginning. It would have been better if the next person to act was on the far left instead of the far right, since I think every game does that?

In chapter 3, I like this so far...other than the story.

I'll consider swapping the turn order direction for karsu and I's current game, which uses the same CTB system.

Yeah, battles are meant to be hard, and characters will probably die, but there are definite ways to overcome each and every encounter. You'd know more if the LT I did of the game didn't accidentally get not-recorded, but... ;_;

What do you not like about the story? That it goes nowhere for three chapters? In chapter four, people start dying, and by chapter six you're on the run from an undead prince... too bad I never got around to that.
I've written a review. Hopefully it's approved. I enjoyed the game. :) I thought the challenge was just right.

lol u bitch

I kind of don't want to play this because I'll just end up whining about how it's not going to be finished. But I'm sure it's worth a shake so I'M GOING FOR IT MAN

(also i'll plagiarize all your ideas haw haw)

edit:
oh hey i own a mic maybe i'll get in on this "let's try" craze
(did you catch my hilarious joke there)
I'll probably check this out soon. I need to give one of your games a try.
