...is up in the air, in the wake of the demo. I'm not sure if I should continue on with this project. I want to, but not if there is going to be little interest going forward. If there is still enough interest, I'll wrap up chapter one in the coming weeks and see where we go from there.

Based on the demo, do you think the project is worth continuing?

I liked it. I'm not sure about every else's opinions, though.

Yeah, I mean there's things to improve on, but the level of response from the demo in comparison to the amount of hype as I was working on it shows to me that it is a big disappointment. I'm probably better off continuing with my flagship series.

Well, your demo has more downloads than my demo for Riot Grrrl and I'm not about to quit making that. Why? It's more about the response of the people who have played it than the number of people.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I'm not disappointed per se, I just have to determine which project to focus on for the next month or so. I really want to work some more on Carlsev Saga II, but if demand for this game is still high then I'm more than happy finishing chapter 1 in the short-term.
I think its just that people are a little jaded with "FIRST DEMO PLAY NAO!" scenarios, you know? The feeling I get from here is that completed or lengthy demos are preferred.

Keep at it.

Ah, yeah, true. It's pretty short.
Well, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more, but it seems like it'd be a substantial time commitment and if it came down to the two of them I would prefer a complete Carlsev Saga to a complete Legend of Denadel. I guess it comes down to how much time you expect to be able to devote to RPGmaker, and it'll only become harder to quit the more you work on it.

Maybe I'll finish chapter 1 and put the rest on hold until I finish Carlsev Saga II.
