Ok, I finally got a side view battle script to work! (Yay!) But, if I try to use it in other projects it tells me that there is an argument error "bad value for range" in line 30 of the script. Line 30 says:
for i in x...x + width
If anyone out there is a scripter who wants to help me with this, I have no clue what line 30 means, I would greatly appreciate it!

I don't think it will make a difference, but you can try putting the 'x + width' in brackets ( ) just to make sure it's evaluating that before creating the range.
K, thanks for helping me! I think my problem may actually be with the sprites :) but I'll try what you said! Just in case, does anyone know of an RMXP sprite generator that isn't Backwater Productions?
ok.... I have charactermaker xp now. Anyone know where I can get good elf ears as an addon? This is driving me CRAZY!
If I recall, there is a fairly good charaset generator called "Loose Leaf" it's all in Japanese and I don't have a link for it anymore, but it's something to look out for.
Do you mean the image won't save properly? What you can do is simply press 'Print Screen' and open up paint; just paste it in and edit out anything that isn't part of the charaset. It's a bit of work, but I think it can be worth it sometimes.
Wow, thanks! I will try that. If I try save image as... it just turns up blank. I don't know if my computer has paint, it's really messed up, but that won't stop me from trying! Thank you so much.
If for some reason you don't have Paint (should be under Accessories), I recommend a basic yet more powerful program:

OK, I finally discovered the problem: Some of my sprites are not 128 * 192 or larger. Can anyone help change the size of these sprites?
Thanks, it would be easy, but my screwed up computer only allows me to change image sizes to have the same ratio. So any square sprite file will not be able to be resized!
Thats odd, is it your computer, or do you just have a really weird paint program? At any rate if you can't do it yourself then you could always just send it to me and I'll see what I can do.
