It's that magical time of winter once again, and amidst the cries of jubilation and glee, there sits a young boy who isn't swept up in the ecstasy of the season. He knows all too well the true sorrow that awaits disappointed boys and girls on Christmas morning. You are Lucas, a boy like any other, but filled with a quiet rage. Your mission? To take Santa down; to make sure no one else is hurt by his empty promises ever again.

After you are flung into a mystical world where anything is possible and holidays roam free, you must gather your courage and start a revolution. Travel across strange lands (from graveyards and mountains to the Island of Misfit Toys!) and meet beloved characters such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and the Easter Bunny! Battle friend and foe alike as you travel the world and grow a little inside.

But be careful what you do! Because this Christmas... Santa's watching you.

Greetings from the North Pole!

Jk. If I was there, I'd be dead.

Anyway, I finally decided to bite the bullet, join the community, and post my game, despite not being far enough along as I said I would before asking for recruits. I guess the cold weather got to me. I definitely have a clear vision for this thing, so direction isn't the issue; only implementation.

I need competent (or enthusiastic):

MAPPERS (for mapping magical areas)
SPRITERS (for the characters and/or environments)
"BATTLE ENGINEERS" (for creating an RPG fight system)

So drop me a line if you're interested in joining, or at the least, interested in the idea. Comments and criticisms are always welcome!

For some odd reason, this reminds of Mad TV's "Raging Rudolph". Don't forget to include the Abominable Snowman, Jack Frost and the Land of Misfit Toys. How did the Easter Bunny sneak into this project?
Of course. I was actually in the middle of touching up my map of the Island when I noticed the comment. It's nice to see people who remember this stuff. There really are a bunch of nods to those Christmas specials in the game, if indirectly. When coming up with this concept, I was surprised at how much of this stuff could actually interact with each other; I still am.

And the Easter Bunny... Why not build a resistance with the King of Spring?
