My second RPG made with the rpgmaker program. My first RPG was Battle of the Continent and wasn't that good, so it was ultimately scrapped and this was the final result. I was still relatively new to the game designing business, so not all design choices in this game were ideal. But it is a full fledged RPG that takes 8-10 hours to complete and is chock-full of stuff. Just don't go expecting any jawsome stuff in it.
The story follows Robert who is a member of the Tora which is an elite bounty group who does jobs for hire and his newest job lands him in one of the biggest events in the world. Robert and his band of misfits get involved with an ages old conflict between several warring kingdoms and are caught in the middle of a world-destroying evil. RPG cliches abound, but is fun none-the-less.

Ah another rm2k classic! I'm surprised to see you still around. If you want my quick opinion it's probably above average when compared to most old rm games.
That's a smart idea, locking a file with secrets and sidequests until after the game has been beat.
This was actually the first rpgmaker game I stumbled across and played a couple years ago! At the time I played it I didn't know it was made in rpgmaker, but it was the first rpgmaker game I played.

I recall it being a pretty decent game, except for the slow walk speed. (Yep, that's all I remember about it, general decency, slow walk speed, and that you could get a dragon in your party.)

WHOA wow wow. two tails? that is a sexy idea...

will try it when i get the chance
I'm gonna be honest, I didn't really like it. The writing was weak, and the combat was too hard right from the get-go. And I got a game-crqashing glitch in the first 10 minutes =X
yeah, its a pretty old game. But I thought I'd put it back up for grabs for those who lost or forgot about it long time ago. It is nowhere near the level of awesomeness that I'm working on right now. (Amulet of Fate) But it is definitely a good start for a fledgling RPG designer. Its an old classic, but its not an amazing one, I'll admit that. But putting it up honestly for legacy reasons. :)

So far, this game is pretty fun. I'm still trying to beat the Critic, but keep losing, which leads to my only complaint: magic. The fact that that psychotic thing (and the antonea things in the cave) can use such high level magic right away makes it near impossible to survive most of the spells. Plus, as far as I can tell there is no stat that defends against magic. This makes it REALLY hard to deal with such devastating spells so early. I can tell you are not working on this game anymore, but it would be nice to be able to defend against such things in future games.

Again, don't get me wrong, I'm having fun, I'm just a bit frustrated at the moment.
hmm, I believe leveling up a level or two (max I should think) outside the cave usually resolves most issues within the cave. The intelligence stat usually is the stat the helps defend against magic. in rm2k3, this stat doesn't do that, even though it was supposed to. So be thankful it still works the way it should in rm2000.
i'm stuck on the switch puzzle in zjjamar temple....any suggestions?
Wow, how did I miss Ociris' post? Well here's the answer, if you're asking about the gargoyles. There is a route that leads you to a room with six of them you have to jump down ledges to reach. Going from left to right in the map, write down the order of numbers you read on each statue WITH the associated eyeball the statue is NOT missing. Then go back to the other route that leads you to two gargoyle statues that have places to input those numbers and then for the eyeball that IS missing that the OTHER statues had, input the numbers you wrote down for that statue going from LEFT to RIGHT when you were gathering the numbers in the previous room. Complex, I know, but it does have its sound logic.
So far i'm really enjoing the game but i have a problem with the sand dunes to reach darium. I have Lauriene in the party cause she said she's needed for the sand dunes but when i reache them nothing happens. I go up,down, right left all is always the same not a single indication.
keep going down or right. You'll eventually make it to Darium.
I am loving this old game. However, I am totally stuck in the Zjjamar temple, also. I got the eyeball count from left to right, then I am stuck!
I cannot figure out how to get the spikes down in the first room's offshoot rooms (one on left, one on right). It is inside the offshoot rooms I can't get the spikes down. Is this where the gargoyle is to input eye count??

Please, any advice?
