I was a little worried about some of the puzzles in this so here's a walkthrough! Note that this only contains the actions necessary to complete the game: there's a lot of optional stuff and dialog too.

Anyway (contains spoilers):

- Take the elevator to Level 2. Go to Tyranno's Lab and pick up the Ecto Analyser (squat metal thing near the door). Go into Brotzmann's lab and use the Analyser on the piece of ectoplasm on the floor (the purple blob thing) and on Brotzmann's body. You'll get the "Brotzmann's Ghost" note.

- While in Brotzmann's lab, use Quimby on Brotzmann's Notes to get the "Bug" note.

- Go to Level 1. Click on the terminal in front of the ghost chamber (coffee pot) and then click the red button next to the unregistered ghost. Use the "Brotzmann's Ghost" note on it. Then ask it about the ghost club to get a Container Number.

- Go into the door on level 1 and talk to Vermillo until you get the "Ectoplasm Production" note.

- Go to the Ground Floor and use the "Ectoplasm Production" note on Vupnor. Then use the "Bug" note on Science Dog. Then click on Compu-Tor and read Brotzmann's unedited notes for a Section Number.

- Use the Section Number on the Container Number in your notes.

- Go to Level 3 and use the combined Section/Container Number on the Ghost Archives.

- Travel through the caves until you get to the city. In the first conversation with Science Dog, tell him "I'm no threat to you" and then "I know when I'm beat". After you've been imprisoned, talk to the ghost holding Quimby. Ask it about "longing" and then tell it to let it's memories go. After it drops him, use Quimby on the Transmitter and you're done!
