assuming the guy at top is speaking:
It is poor design to have text boxes on top of
the entity talking. Don't worry if it covers the listener.
It just looks better when it goes from top to bottom
depending on the talker too.

The king's decorator does have weird tastes though : a red carpet on a pink one ?

He also likes rugs that are uneven.

The entry point to the map should be extended one tile to the left so at least it's even. The map will still be a little zzz though.

The people on the chairs don't look right.

Looks fine to me. Just seems like they're standing beside their seats.
