Very forgettable, even for amateur work.

I will start this review off by saying that I am aware that this game was made as a first game from the developer. Because of this, I will be a bit less harsh on it, but nonetheless, my critique is my critique and here I am.

What is one thing that will make me remember Red Moon? I'm really not sure, maybe the fact that this is a very bland game, unfortunately. The only reason that I played it was because I was looking at random games and it came out, so I downloaded it.

The story of this game is entirely forgettable. It may also be its strongest point. The gameplay is expected, typical rpg maker combat and exploration. These categories are even solid, they don't suck.

The problem is this game's mapping, which is not just bland, it is ugly. The music serves the purpose maybe. The characters that make up the game's main party are all forgettable and receive next to none character development. I can't remember the last time that I didn't care about the characters so much as in this game.

The lore of the world is bland, almost non-existent, the side characters are lifeless and boring, there is no incentive to explore the world in the game.

After replaying both Feral Dreams games and thoroughly enjoying them, again and also reviewing them with high, deserved scores, I tried to play something worse and less popular. I did it but it only made me miss quality rog maker games more.

This isn't a terrible game, which is why I won't give it a terrible score, the problem is that it's such a lifeless and unimaginative game that you just can't care. Still, it's playable and certain aspects were solid about it, but that's about it.

I can't go higher than 2 stars and that's also a gift, but only because it was a first-time project which had some tiny little potential.
