Old fools is more common though...Isn't it? Like ALL the villains say that.

I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with 'old fools' just that to me it sounds a lil too common a phrase for someone with the power to do what he did..! :-)

Both are gramatically correct for a villain's speech - but a good baddie always has a touch of the well spoken about him, it's more sinister than slang!

I really regret using the word 'grammatically' now...

What I was trying to get to was that I think the word 'old' refers more to someone that is still alive, or at least not of the past or the past tense... for me 'aged' sounds like the correct way of talking about something that is no longer here, or in this case dead...

lol, can't believe this has attracted so many opinions..! :-)
