Basic Info:
This is a bit harder than your typical RPG you play now a-days. It's very basic, but contains fun gameplay elements. In short, this game is not for everyone, it's difficult and you're not gonna coast through it. Bosses are hard, enemies are hard. Especially at the early levels when death is only cure-able at churches in town.

Story:

700 years ago, the world of man was a place of peace. People lived their lives without fear, and mankind flourished. It didn't last. A great evil emerged, and laid waste to civilization. When all hope seemed lost, a hero stepped forth, and turned the tides of war. He pushed the evil ones back, and saved our world. Peace returned, and lasted for many centuries. But history has a way of repeating, and darkness always returns. A putrid force is working to bring true evil back to our world. The hero who saved us is long dead, though he has but one descendant. That descendant, however, is no hero. With no intention of defeating the coming evil, but rather bringing it forth. It seems a new hero is needed, one who can stop this new force, and save our world from annihilation.

Fable of Heroes II update, 4-21-13

It's hard finding time to work on this game. But things are going along well.

I have an outline for the plot of the game, and have put in about 50% of the plots content, which has given the game about 6-ish hours of playtime. Not bad, since I'm shooting for around 10+. I've been working out the balance issue, and trying to make sure all the items, weapons and skills are useful and fun.

I'm considering getting a writer to go through my script and beef it up. I've seen what writers can do, and I think that would add so much depth to this project.

I know this isn't the most popular RPG maker series, but since the first game was featured on this site, I feel a need to make sure the sequel is much better and address the issues of the first game.

Yes,I found the key.

Thanxs Ineke
I am enjoying Fable of Heloes and am at Santeem. I have the Theif's Key and have been through the cave that ends up in the palace prison. Twice. I have gone back and opened up all the doors my new key will open. Where do I go now?
Thanks

Sandeem is the Castle Town, you should speak to the King, he'll ask you about helping him find his daughter. You should have discovered that there's a Cave south of the the castle down. After Exploring that cave, you'll come across an area where you'll get a new key, that being the "Magic Key" (The second key you get in that game). You'll be able to use this new key you've found in the cave south of Sandeem to open up a new door way that you couldn't before in that cave. You'll discover whom has captured the princess of Sandeem.
I have a really small window when playing in Windowed mode, and I do not know how to fix that since I can't stretch your game window. Does anyone know how to do that?
Can't find the Diamond Edge Armor... did I miss it in some random dungeon? Got everything else except it.
We can help me?

In the dessert in the farao pyramid and the tower,i can not past. You must click on red and purpel orbs?I did that but than i do not understand wat you must doing.I clicks on all but cannot past to a other part of the game.

Hey I tried the game and it's pretty good. I also made a gameplay video of the game, you can check it out here:

Wow. That's super cool. Glad this game still gets played. I've started work on a sequel too.

*Watches gameplay video for a bit* OMG, your commentary is so funny!

Great game! I've maxed out my heroes, but I need a clue for the ultimate spell. I cannot figure out how to reach the "light" in the cave... Any help? thank you

Look at it and click on the space where it is.
Can I have a list of spells that the heroes learn? Can you also provide the levels? Thanks in advance.
Really hard, enh? I wanna give this one a try...
It's a classical game like Dragon Warrior III in every aspect, but with conversations among heroes.

Fairly long, a bit tough to beat, and lots of exploration. Although this is purely an oldschool game, there are some modern-esque events especially for the later part of the game.

Try it out if you like the oldschool RPGs! :D
For me, old school is usually the best school when it comes to RPGs (particularly SNES era), and I'm definitely enjoying it so far! I'm up to the Wayfarer's Inn. I'm looking forward to playing through this game and the sequel, and checking out the third once it's released.
I'm glad you guys are playing these games.
Looks like I'm near the end of this one!
I have the balloon and the Ancient Key, and got close to winning the Endless Forest fight until I got k.o.ed by the guy on the right (I knocked out the one on the left.)

I have played this game about 3 years ago so I have forgotten lots details of the game but I'm pretty sure that you are enjoying the game if you have been able to reach the very later part of it! Really solid game still I love. :D

Thank you. There are a lot of flaws in this game, but I'm glad there are die hard oldschool fans that still love this type of challenge.
I've been over and over the game and I cannot find the 3 things to put in the place in Saroh and I cannot find the last key - please tell me where all are at - so I can continue the game - Thanx !!
