Hi everybody,

the other reviewers have alreade said quite a lot about this game and I can agree with most of what they said. Yes, the walking speed can be a bit annoying, the battles are hard, and the graphics are pretty standard. I can't say anything about the music because I played the game in WINE and didn't bother to get the sound working. So what do I have to add?

This game is fun!
I like hard battles where you have to think about your strategy. The maps are no so huge that the walking speed is really a problem. And the dungeons are alle cleverly made in a way that after solving the puzzles, you don't have to crawl all the way back through parts you already know and get killed on your way out, which to me is one of the most anoying things in some RPGs.
Plus, the author has a nice aproach to secret doors and hidden treasures and doesn't make you hump alle the wals in the hope that one identical-looking wall-tile suddenly turns out to be a secret door or that you can suddenly walk through a tree-tile. At least I hope so, because I stopped humping the walls pretty early in the game since there didn't seem to be a point to it. Don't get me wrong, though: there are hidden treasures.

This game is just the right lenght: I think I explored the whole map and found pretty much everything there is, and still it didn't take me weeks. This is the kind of game that you can start and even without using any walkthroughs you can finish it in a reasonable amount of time. It doesn't get so complicated that you have to keep notes about what you are to do next and which sidequests you have started. And I don't think you can actually break any sidequests by missing them and coming back to late (which is also anoying for someone like me who likes to find them all).

So, grab this game if you just want some hours of solid RPG fun. And if you aspire to find all three endings, you better learn to fight!
