Nice! Very comprehensive. Didn't think you'd give away the hidden boss so easily though.

Well, he's just one of two. And I haven't even mentioned the other one...
No Mega Man 2 representation makes me sad. :(
There is Mega Man 2 representation...just not where you think it would be... ;)
Level "Gimmicks" should be called Level Mechanics or Level Themes.

I fought him already. Does he even have a weakness? And why is there no reward for beating him? Especially considering how ridiculously difficult he was! Also, who's the cameo appearance above the teleporter in Pharaoh Man's stage?
He's there for bragging rights, nothing more. That and he is the final key to 100% completion so you get the Boss Rush password. As for the cameo appearance, there are 5 more in the game, each one depicting a Mega Man from a different accompanying franchise.

Yeah, I've found them all & marked them on the spoiler maps, I was just wondering who that was in Pharaoh Man's stage. I didn't recognize him but I think it might have been Axl.
I hate this game. At first it felt nice but some things should be a given. You should be able to beat every boss using just the mega buster. I challenge anyone to try to beat Spark man consistently without playing him 20 times. I know Mega Man games are supposed to be "HARD" now, but earlier today I breezed through Rockman 3 and I haven't played the game in 20 years.
Spark Man’s not that hard to beat just using the plain ol’ Mega Buster. In fact, other than Centaur Man and Toad Man, Spark Man’s probably one of the easiest Robot Masters to beat. Just watch out where he jumps around and try your best to outrun his charged shots without colliding straight into him.

I’ll admit with you that this game can be VERY punishing – but I don’t think it’s downright impossible. Once you manage to defeat a couple of the Robot Masters and find some of the upgrades scattered throughout the stages, the game can actually be quite enjoyable at times. It’s hard, but it’s a fun, challenging sort of hard, you know?

Hey, at least this game isn’t on the same difficultly wavelength as Megaman & Bass or Megaman X6. I rather play this game than play those abominations.
A trick to beating Spark Man is knowing where to keep the battle; by that I mean, keep yourself on the middle platform and on the top right platform. If you linger there as he's hopping around, you'll notice most of his attacks far easier to dodge. The fact there is a hitbox blind spot on the far right of the middle platform makes this even simpler.

If I had to choose a Robot Master that is completely dickish, that'd be Tornado Man. If the RNG isn't nice to you and he starts using his cloud attack more often, then he becomes a pain. Its doable though if you ride one platform up halfway, shoot him when you're level with him, slide off to the center, keep walking to the far opposite wall as the platforms fall back down and take the other platform back up and repeat as long as he does clouds, you 'should' be okay.
