Easy Mode Demonstrated.

I apologize for not having the game ready in time for last December of release. A lot of real life things happened between then and now. Rest assured we are still steadily working on finishing up the remainder of the game and polishing up anything that needs fixin'! For now, I will show you a new addition to the game: Easy Mode! Due to some comments from testers saying the game is pretty hardcore, we've toned it down some. But we still want to maintain the Megaman like challenge; so for those who aren't willing to grin and bear it, we are creating easy mode that'll remove most of the challenge for you so you can more leisurely enjoy your Megaman experience!

Any chance you'll be making a chiptune soundtrack? The old NES sounds kinda clash with the background music pretty hard.
Minor nitpicks:

IMO, the charged shot sound effect clashes with the others and is too loud, but I don't mind the other 8-bit sounds. I think the MM5-6 charged shot sound would be much better.

Also, having several yoku blocks appear at the same time seems to increase the sound effect's volume a lot (probably because the sound effect is also repeated). Would it be possible to only play one sound regardless of how many blocks appear?

In any case, this level seems easy enough in this mode. Good job :)
Could you also add a "medium difficulty" mode where you DON'T tamper with the amount of damage taken and received, but still have all the floaty platforms that block instant death traps and such?
That sound bug is logged and will be rectified before release. As for a 'medium difficulty' setting, we'll have to see where we are at at the end of production if we can tack that on or not.
Looks great! I know I won't be playing easy mode, but it is nice to have as an option. I do think I would prefer the original music since the graphics are 8 bit, but it will still be fun regardless.

Any idea when the game might be done? :)
Our hope? Before the first quarter of 2014 ends. As in...around April. In fact, we are hoping for an April 1st release. Just for kicks and giggles....
Just saying, I made a profile on this site just to comment on the game's progression. I was only introduced to this specific fangame when the trailer was released late last year, but I've been following development ever since.

An April release would be amazing, but I never want developers to rush their games for fans, so you guys take all of the time you need, so long as you think you've removed all of the bugs, sorted out all of the little kinks in the works.

I look forward to a public release, I plan on LPing this game, it will be an experience... lol
