The game has gone gold! Pre-launch trailer!

Your heard that right. The game has gone gold! Jman and I are going through the game a couple more times between now and the release date to catch any last minute bugs, but its perfectly playable as is and can be played from beginning to end with negligible hiccups. We are giving ourselves another week just to be absolutely sure we are delivering an awesome product; however one way or another, Thanksgiving Day is going to be a great day for Megaman fans! And to kick off the hype, here is the trailer:

Note: The first part is a bit tongue-in-cheek humor, don't take it seriously. :)

Looks fantastic! By the way, was I ever added to the credits as a tester? I had done some testing a while back and gave input, but I don't think I ever gave a robot master to represent myself or whatever else you had for testers in the credits. Or would it be too late for that?

Forgot about you! Thanks, I'll add you to the credits. However, we dropped the robot masters to represent folks, we didn't have the time to implement what I wanted. So the idea got dropped.

recording sales certification is a system of certifying that a music recording has shipped or sold a certain number of copies. In the UK (and Canada iirc), "going Gold" means having shipped 100,000 copies of the game or album. So when you said 'The game has gone gold!' it implies that you shipped or sold 100,000 copies of the game, hence:

Well, I'm not in the UK or Canada, and going gold means something different. It meant: The game is basically finished - barring any further bugs or delays, the publishers start right away on producing the CD, DVD or Cartridges with the game on it for distribution. For us, it means, we 'could' release it right now, but there are some niggling things we want to fix up. Which is why we're giving ourselves one more week. :)
