Over 2 years in the making, the first full group collaboration quest has finally been completed. Lost Isle takes you on a journey to a deserted island where the formal inhabitants have suffered a catastrophic event and all that remains is the dead and the decaying. A sinister story unfolds the further you explore the island and evil secrets are revealed as you get closer and closer to the true evil that is conspiring against you. You will travel through ghost towns, graveyards, swamps, forests, volcanos, wastelands and canyons in your search for answers and a way off this haunted island. With one gigantic world to explore, five huge dungeons, an entire island-wide cave system, many misc. dungeons and catacombs to explore, optional Triforce pieces, 36 pieces of heart, myriad of shields and potions, hidden secrets and lurking ghosts; this adventure will test your very limits as an explorer. Only the true intrepid players will see the quest through and claim the much -deserved ending. This is Lost Isle, you have been warned adventurer!

Story: You (as Link) have crash-landed on a seemingly deserted island out in the middle of the ocean. With no real reference point to indicate where exactly you are in the world, you have no choice but
to explore the island and find some way of getting off of it and back to the mainland. But it appears that there was once a civilization here that was thriving, but all that has turned to dust and dead bodies. Undead and foul creatures fill the villages and take shelter in the woods and creep through the dark corners of the island. What could have caused this great catastrophe and is this great evil still
alive and well as you explore the very land that it destroyed? Welcome to Lost Isle...

Version 1.1 Update!

After a long time in coming, there is a version 1.1 update! With various bug fixes across multiple levels and overworld maps. Nothing too major. In fact, unless you were personally aware of specific bugs fixed, the entire update will be pretty transparent to you. It plays pretty much the same. However, on the new RC 2.50 release of Zelda Classic engine, this quest has been updated to run better on that engine with minimal bugs encountered. So re-download again and enjoy!

LMAO at these spambots...I'm sorry I couldn't help, but giggle at this.
Zelda Classic seems to have an issue with Windows 7.

I would really like to play this.
The uk papers service utilize distinguished research papers writers, who supply special aid to all students at low costs on custom written term papers.

Everyone would like to have assurances that the customized term papers they get from the custom papers service are good. Thence, that's essential issue.
holy spambots batman!

@ginsing tea, if you are using old ZC betas below and before the Lost Isle build version, it will most likely have an issue with Windows 7, being more DOS-like in nature. The Lost Isle build which I believe I provide a link for 'does' work with Windows 7. At least it does for me, flawlessly. If that fails, then I suggest searching up armageddon games, and looking around the forums for updated betas to download that are Windows 7 friendly. As for how they play Lost Isle, I haven't tested and there could be some compatibility issues there.
It requires a program called Zelda Classic to download, more specifically the brand new ZC release ver. 2.50. I suggest you get that first.
The build listed on the page here won't open the .qst file, is what i meant.
Gee whiz this game is seriously hard.
Hello everyone. I am the co-creator of this quest and actually I am the one who did most of this game (she was more of an advisro than a game creator). I strongly advice against downloading this version of the game because DarkFlameWolf stole the game from me (changed password so that I do not have access to the game anymore) and made some really bad changes to the game that I do not approve of. Then she apparently came here to release her version of the game, which is really sad.

You all should go here ( http://koti.welho.com/pranta18/index.htm ) to download the game and the program to play the game with. This is the original and true version of the game Lost Isle.

Thank you for reading and please enjoy Lost Isle. I spent almost 2 years making this game. :)
I'm sorry, I actually started and designed this quest. I hired you on as help. I did not steal anything since the original quest was mine. Please stop slandering my good name and spamming this thread. And if by 'bad changes' you mean bug fixes, I guess that's a bad thing. o_O You already got your due credit for your involvement in the quest, that does not give you ownership over the original conception.
Darkflamewolf, you've really allowed your ego to consume you this time. You may have started and led the development of this quest, but to be quite honest your contributions to the quest were by far the worst. The overworld, caves, and even planning were of decidedly lower quality than the dungeons made by Peteo. I believe the dungeons are what really define a Zelda Game. This isn't your game. It's a collaborative effort with the majority of the contributions coming from Peteo. It disgusts me that you'd claim Lost Isle as solely your work. You're a vile, repulsive human being and you should feel bad.
User was warned for this post
Are you seriously stooping that low? You're also leaving out the part where you altered parts of the game without discussing with the co-creator. There is a vast amount of content in this quest that you did not design and to which you can claim no credit over. This was, and always has been, a collaborative effort. The original version of the game even had both your names on the title screen. On Zelda Classic's database, it is listed as DarkFlameWolf & Peteo. To make the claim that this is all yours is...sickening. I looked up to you at one point and drew a lot of inspiration from your work. Now I feel ashamed of that.
I'm going to say Way to go Peteo, And also I'm going to throw this out there.
I also want to reiterate this, play this version http://koti.welho.com/pranta18/index.htm

Quoted for truth, I feel the same way, I looked up to Darkflamewolf... as well. But now... I just don't know.
Odd...all three of you recently subscribed as users of rpgmaker.net, all 3 of your have only one post (2 for banana) in your history and its all here. I'm almost willing to bet all of you is just one person: Peteo. And for the record, I still have Peteo's credit that he is due. I am not shallow to the point that I would deny that.
Well Sorry to bust your bubble... But I'm not Peteo.
I'm someone from another page (That place Pure), I'm sure you've seen my name before...
For the record, I'm Moosh. You may have heard of me too.

Unacceptable language. We're talking about an amateur video game here.

Not giving proper credit is also unacceptable. Based on what I've seen, Peteo needs to be credited as a developer so s/he gets the same amount of makerscore and recognition. All users must be credited on the gamepage for work unless they agree not to be credited. Otherwise one of the most important features of our game/user pages is thrown out the window. If the user doesn't have a page, then you can just mention them in a credits list or something. We want to make sure everyone gets recognized for their work. Thank you.
