i made a favor to a lot of people and recoded some parts of Momodora, so it’ll run Ok in possibly every computer. I also touched some minor things and added an intro text.

When you say "inspired by Zelda", do you refer to the style of Zelda 2, because some of the screenshots remind me of such
Damn Ness, you work on all the big projects!

I played this. It's pretty fun 'w')b
Wow. I just got this game few days ago, and I don't know you're one of the dev. Nice game, it reminds me of Cave Story a lot.
Maybe it's just me, but I feel that I'm getting hit by things when I'm simply close to them rather than actually touching them. I think the collision detection needs work.
this game is pretty awesome.
This game looks great, I can't believe it's only gotten this much comments and views. It should have WAY more!
Looks like the Bubblegum Rosy remake, lol.
U made that too, amirite? =D
nah rdein made that. :)
I will check this out when I get home. It certainly caught my eye!
The game is pretty good. But the only purpose in killing enemies is to clear a path and rush to the next map, really. They don't drop any life regaining stuff, so when you're low on health you die easier with barely any hope of surviving unless you're really near a healing point.

I haven't gotten far yet anyhow. But I'll still continue to play when I have time. Got some tests coming up anyway.
Thank you all for playing ;w;
Definitely a cool game. Challenging, as intended, but the difficulty itself is entirely playable, so that's cool. It reminds me of older NES/SNES/Genesis gaming back in the day.

I would however like to agree with Vulcan in the fact that I wish enemies would drop some sort of health or something, even if rarely.
Maybe the "Developer" field should have an option to put in someone else's name.

Also, do we have permission from the original author to put this up here?

That is true. We do lack Game maker games on this site. This is why I'm developing a game here. It has been inspired by games similar to yours along with popful mail, Wonderboy, Megaman Zero, and Zelda II.

Link isn't working :(

I updated the link :) https://rdein.itch.io/
It's pretty insane how popular this series has became and how this game was chillin' here since 2010. I was so mindblown by it back then, but to see the series it has spawned so far is beautiful!

Also, only ONE page of comments in here. In. Sane.
