I really like the ambiance in this video and screenshot. Despite its super long intro, this game has a lot going for it, well done.

I personally don't mind long intros, as long as their interesting. But then again I prefer story-driven games

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I kinda agree, I mean I dont have anything against chibi characters. It just doesn't seem to fit in it seems with the maps. They are so beautiful and life-like, and then here's a chibi character...O_o. But despite that, it still looks good.

Yes, I also agree with this. When I tested your game, the characters really clashed with the mood you were trying to set with the scenario/maps.

I know it's easier said than done but finding some more ''mature'' character sprites would truly be a blessing :).

That looks awesome except for the fact that there's a huge mushroom there. I took be a while to notice, but once I did, all I could think of was Smurfville or whatever that town is called.

@bob_esc: lol, yes this map was for a Animated water tutorial I made,
And the mushroom is totally out of scene, and is not fitting of the game's world.
You won't see it, in the official game. :)

And to the others regarding the sprite, I totally agree with you.
Although I do love the chibis in general (nostalgic thing).
Unfortunately I suck at spriting but here is a quick edit of one of the XP sprites, what do you guys think?

It *is* better in the sense that it is more fitting with the setting of your game (it looks more ''adult'').

I'd find a way to mess around with the eyes. Spriting eyes isn't all that hard and you could improve further the look of your characters.

In my opinion, those "chibi" sprites fit it more than that XP, I don't know why, but it is that way.
