User Contribution

I have been keeping track of the users who have contributed the most to the project. You can see the list of users ranked here (and the online copy gets updated periodically, but not immediately):

https://subversion.assembla.com/svn/rpg20xx/doc/rank.txt

Right now I have been adding single points to users who have submitted a bug I was not already aware of, or a suggestion I accept that I haven't thought of or was unsure about. Bugs, if I can confirm them, usually gain a point. If a suggestion is too minor or trivial, I might not give it a point.

Who reported/suggested what and got credit for it is recorded here:

https://subversion.assembla.com/svn/rpg20xx/doc/list.txt

You will be credited as the username everyone can see. Even if you are the same person, you'll have separate records. I can create an anonymous record name if you want to give me your reports/submissions directly and do not want your username shown.

I feel as though there should be some sort of reward at the end, but I have no idea what.. or what I could possibly give. For now, it's fun just to have a high score.

Of course RPG20XX needs an RTP. These should be done in a neutral style (nothing funky or Earthbound like) and you will gain a point for every 16x16 tile's worth of original art asset created and submitted. For example, a face is 3x3 tiles so its worth 9 points.

Try to bundle them in subjects (face image with matching character parts, etc.) as I will multiply the points by the different kinds of matching material types. If you have a lot of character parts, simply having matching faces can double the points. If you have a tileset that is complete with animated tiles, auto tiles, and lower/upper tiles, that's triple points.

Every sound effect will be worth 1 point, but every song will be worth 10 points for every complete minute of song.. but the catch is that it has to be a song I accept, so no looping the same 20 seconds until its 10 hours.

Artwork given to the project will be licensed only for non-commercial use. I don't want to mix and match licenses and I don't want anyone making money off of someone else's donated work that was intended for all the community. Don't solicit me offering to sell me a commission either, if I'm going to go through all this just to give to the community then you should, too. Don't worry, I'll make it known you did.
