This is the revamped edition of Chrono Alter I was telling everyone about a while back. For those of you who don't know what it is, Chrono Alter is a side-game to the Chrono series by Square Enix. Chrono Alter follows a short adventure of Crono and the cast from Chrono Trigger as they are pulled into a new world by, what appears to be, Lavos reborn.
The story will not stray too far from the original edition, but the script has been heavily edited. The writing is much better, and the story makes more sense. It's a sort of re-translation, if you will. Small tidbits about the story have been changed, but nothing major. Also, the graphics have been HEAVILY edited. Only a few of the maps used in to original remained in the game.
The game has a much more 'Chrono' feel to it, and I think this edition will be a much better experience for everyone. Plus, it leads into 'Chrono Trigger 2', my other game, much better than the original.
I hope to have the game out by April.

This actually looks good, however it makes one a little bit skeptical, one of my main thoughts is, how does the battles look? If you can pull this off I'm rooting for you buddy, I'll be checking back. *sub*

Yay! I'm assuming you're reworking the plot, correct? And bug fixes too... For one thing, please fix the Boat/Mansion bug, and instead of never entering a town until the plot allows it, why not just make a switch that deactivates further progression if you enter a town early. And, for goodness sakes, PLEASE lower shop prices. This game is hard enough without killing enemies for an hour to gain all the things you need. I also noticed inns are 10x cheaper then items........

I'll be working on everything once I get my laptop charger in the mail. I wanna get this project done soon. I'm changing the stats to reflect Chrono Trigger, that includes shop prices and inn prices. That help? :D

Hi Lance VII! and to everyone! I'm new in RPG Maker and as i was browsing for some old video game oldies, i saw one of the greatest games ever made (Chrono Trigger) and upon checking other Chrono stuff, I stumbled upon Alter! I was in shock! A Sequel! So I ended up here for looking to download your creation Lance VII. Unfortunately, at this moment megaupload has some legal issues on the FBI. So I was not able to get your game. Can you help me with this? I really want to get to the story. Please Help Lance. Hope you have other external link on your game. I'll be back on your reply, More power to you and your inspirations! BTW you got mad skillz! =)

Wow! This looks much better than the original! I just wish I could try it but sadly, there's no available demo.
