This is very well done, I love the background image - very nice.
I do like the fact that you have coins inside ice, that's a very nice touch. The colors are perfect, the mapping is wonderful; I love it all around. <3

Thanks! The background fires move as in the original game, and I tried to color it dark enough so that it didn't clash while animating. I used the same palette scheme for some of the other blocks; the rest of the blocks are edits from the graphics pack expansion. Still not sure how exactly I'm going to design the level, but it will probably be similar to the Ice Palace level in Mario vs. the Moon Base, with a bit more vertical platforming and maybe a gimmick or two.
