Aww... no sandstorm and no tumbleweeds. =(

Edit: Well, I think it's visible enough... If anything maybe you should add that classic lighting effect around the character.
"its like a town with a too dark color overlay"
Versalia
must be all that rtp in your diet

Can I make a suggestion? This map is busy. Really busy. There are at least six different visible kinds of flowers, you've used every type of tree next to each other, and... there's no reason for a WELL to exist right next a pond.

Pick one kind of flowers and stick with them. "This town has mostly white and pink wildflowers."
Insert variation in a sensible manner. "This house has blue flowers, because the old lady plants her own garden."
(For example, in this map a character can comment "Oh, X Type Flowers... they only grow where there's been a drought..." and that adds a big chunk of subtle depth to your game if you reuse those flowers anywhere else.)

I also get what you're going for, with the 'destroyed' landscape next to the water spawning regrowth, but the transition is extremely jarring. It's vibrant, green, thriving and lush, you've packed it with a multitude of various plants and trees, and then dead and dry literally one foot away. It's just not working for me.

Basically: Sometimes less is more.

edit: I guess there is some MAGIC involved there, so feel free to handwave my last point
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

This is so dark that the house is literally just a black square. No amount of brightness can make it visible on my monitor, because there is literally only one color, black. I don't understand the fascination with making games so dark that nothing can be seen. So many screenshots lately are like this. I know your whole game isn't like this because three of the screenshots are normal brightness. But the other seven are all way, way too dark.
I'm still fiddling with the screen tones. It's a night shot - one of the few in the game. I'll figure something out, but it seems pretty light to me. Then again, I've an LCD screen so that may be it.
