One thing that always bugged me with using just the sand tile to indicate a dried up water area was that there was no depth at all. A quick edit soon changed that, though! ^.~
There's still a few changes to be made to this map - for one there's going to be a boulder blocking the way to that chest. For another, the chest graphic will be changed (that's my place holder for chests).
And one other thing is that I want something in front of the cave that will make it accessible only when the water is gone. I'm thinking a log bridge that can be conveniently swept away by the water when it comes back... Back to photoshop, I guess...
