Cutscene art... and less than 1.5 months until D-Day. ._.

Ok, I admit I am feeling the teeniest bit of apprehension as this game hurtles ever closer to its release date. My testers have started to send me their notes ( only one major game-crashing bug was found, which is good considering the length of EHD. It has been stamped upon. ) and I am dutifully paying attention to them, stamping out grammatical errors ( thanks blueperiod =) ) and anything else that may have seen out of place.

I also changed the names of some places:

Rekez Village and Forest is now Ogham Village and Ogham Forest ( yey, more Celtic influenced names XD ) and the Alborz Caves are now the Manster Caves.

As for the artsies:

I don't have money right now to get some gorgeous in-game art ;_;. So I do it meself... Thank you, Phantasy Star 4.

More menu features:

- Gain Stats: Distribute Attribute Points to improve character abilities.

- Guide: Outlines basic info, abbreviations and the like.

The guide is called through an event that is tied to the Main Menu Melody script.

- Journal: Now the player won't have an excuse to get lost. The Journal contains destination quotes that will be updated as the game progresses. Naturally, the last one of the list is where you need to go. =)

What lies ahead, Laine? What lies ahead indeed?

That's all for now.

I like that you moved the Guide and the Gain Stats to the menu. It was getting a tad irritating to have to navigate the Status menu to get to the Distribute Stats.

I sent you my bug stuff for the demo a while ago, by the way. Hopefully it's still in your inbox!
Phantasy Star influenced cutscenes? Just made me think on that series seeing how the frames were positioned. They look great.
Waiting for the release impatiently as always ~<3.
Yuna21 Making what was already great to get even better. Increasingly enjoying the game and eager to play with new game updates.
The colors you use for cutscenes are so full and vibrant. They may contradict the tone of the game you're trying to achieve, but it sure makes it pretty darn lovely to look at.

Definitely see the PS4 influence:

Regarding the elements battle guide, you seem to be missing the weakness where the damage is actually absorbed by the enemy. It is either there is a solid green one or the green one at the edge of the circle filled with black.
@pyrofiend: Yeah, I still have your notes. XD

@orochii: Hope it will be worth it. And I've always loved PS4's representation of those cutscenes. It was a rare thing back in the 16-bit era of JRPGs. That and it being my first RPG I ever played, so naturally, it has a strong influence on me.

@shun: Thanks to my testers, yes, I can continue to make the game better. =)

@Dy: I like vibrant things. ^^

@educhuy: I remember that scene. One of the three scenes that stood out the most in my head... Sure, I didn't like Chaz, but that scene was pretty powerful. =)
