Thoughts as release date draws nearer.

To my stomach, now that I'm releasing this in a mere week. I literally feel nauseous. I'm trying to concentrate on something else, but I can't. I'm just like that. >< The journey for Volume One, while at an end, reasons for a joyous celebration at actually completing my first serious game, cannot come. I am wracked with doubt ( I have extremely low self-esteem and self-confidence ) and I'm just thinking: What will make this game stand out from the 1000s of RM games on this site? What will make people play it and come back for Volume Two? More importantly, what will make me stand out as a developer?

I started RMing back in 2009 with my Phantasy Star fan-game ( now that I look back on it, it was a mess. And my mapping was... terrible. Players who saw that game and now see Enelysion would probably not even know its by the same person, which is a good thing, at least. My writing was terrible as well. I went from the Phantasy Star fandom to the Fire Emblem fandom. And there, I found a character whom I really loved. So much that Tristian from Lady of the Lion is an Expy of her.

Lucia... Or Luchino. <3 My user name at RMW comes from her.

2009: 0_0 I was that bad. Rips in an RMXP game that dates back to 1994-95? Yeah... Had to give kudos to Alys for making me love strong female characters that take no crap. XD

2013 and beyond

The game has already been uploaded to Dropbox ( will add the Mediafire link as well. Now that I think about it, Dropboxing the game was suicide... -_- ). Then all I have to do on the 26th is... *ulp* post the links here and on RMW.

So this is me yuna21 ( the 21 is how old I was when I joined this site. I'm 25 now XD )/Luchino if you're coming from RMW, signing out. =)

Do not be such a perfectionist to the extreme. His work is excellent and the game and enjoyable. Do not worry so much. I tested the game and enjoyed'm hoping to play the second part.
What matters is that you give as much as you can to build the game, do not be torturing yourself everything the game has to fall on the players taste the elements the plot construction is excellent.
It's natural to be anxious when we upload stuff with our names on it, but in your case, there really is nothing to worry about.
I have my game on Dropbox and it works fine as a "pseudoSVN repository" (?). I actually have less issues getting my game from this location to another to work on it. So, as part of my curiosity, what exactly do you mean with dropboxing this game was suicidal?

Anyway, all screens look great, and the Lucia artwork too <3. I am interested at knowing more about that PhantasyStar fangame <3. And that FireEmblem era seems to reflect on your portraits style, in a nice way.

Keep up the good work yuna,
Orochii Zouveleki
@orochii: Its just that some people would get that dreaded 'server traffic' error or something, which means they won't be able to download the game, which is why I have a Mediafire mirror as well. =) As for that Phantasy Star fangame, while I did complete it years ago ( like around 2010 or so, with around... 12 hours of playtime, the real old one, in any case. I did it in like six months, so... bugs galore and whatnot XD ). But I'm never going release it.

People don't care for fangames, in any case, and not one as badly done as that. Unless its Final Fantasy or Pokemon. -_-
Yay I can't wait for the release :D

Luchino, you can always upload the game here on Rm.net and use this download for Rm.web, I don't think you need to have an account to download here so it shouldn't be a problem :D

And wow your mapping really has improved a whole lot ^^;
@Choco: Nah, it doesn't matter. I already uploaded the game to both Mediafire and Dropbox. Its just waiting to be posted now, link-wise. And the release is just in time for your school holidays, I see. XD
Hehe yeah it is just in time :D ( still can't believe we live in the same city XD Small world~ :3) And I can't wait to see the changes you made to the game :3 You put in a lot of attention in world development this time around right? :)
@Choco: Yes, the new release looks a lot different from the version I sent you guy, thanks to your help and my other testers. =) And yeah, small world indeed. XD
