Done and dusted.

Yes. Enelysion is 100% tested and will be released on the 17th of this month. Which is like *gasp* TWO DAYS AWAY! Yaaaay! My gut is telling me to release it on Wednesday at 12:00pm ( SAST, anyway. Which is short for South African Standard Time, or +2 hours ahead of GMT ).

Done! Done! And dusted! Here's some random game stats.

Current size: 235mb ( with 170mb+ being Audio )

Hours of gameplay: 12-15 hours ( though some of you might get even more out of it, depending if you want to grind or not before the final Gauntlet -> Boss fight ).

No. of audio tracks: 52
No. of locations: 44
No. of foes, including bosses and side-bosses: 90
No. of maps: 300+
No. of items: 100+

I finished the game with Laine and co. between Lvls 25-27. No grinding required. Yeah, after so long and so much dev hell, its really happening. I only hope the game can live up to my fans expectations. =)

Just really, I wanna thank this site as whole. You guys are seriously, freakin' amazing. Thank Aremen. I wouldn't have done it without you.

2 days? Right clearing the schedule, getting in snacks.
Alright, five days early! Awesome! :D

Looks like I gotta finish up collecting all those remaining stars in Super Talking Time Bros. 2.5 – The Last Levels before this game comes out so I can finally turn my undivided attention to that.

I was also going to say - are you surrrrrre this game is ready for full time deployment yet, mistress yuney? You sure you ain’t jumping the gun just a weeeeee little bit with the beta testing process there? Because if I find another shop that sells me elixirs for nothing like the last version – I ain’t sayin’ anything this time.

But still, congrats.

snacks.

This finally gives me a decent enough excuse to finish all those old pretzels that have been sitting in my cupboard for the past week. I’m sure they’re still good.
Nope, all those bugs you mentioned in your review ( and nubby's too ) have been squashed. But I'll probably end pulling an all nighter by running through the game one last time. No more free elixirs, no more 'sellable' key items, I double-triple checked the Skill, Items, Weapons sections for any weird bugs as well. Vol II is nowhere near as bug-ridden. I was extra careful this time round. ^^
Damn. No more selling that sledgehammer anymore for an extra 80 quid.
I'm really looking forward to it. The game was already amazing, so I've been waiting and watching for it to complete. Big congratulations to you on getting it this far, too!
Phantasy Star IV : Beneath A New Light was martyred for a good cause :3
*remembers fondly*
^ I still have it on my PC. Couldn't really get rid of the phangame that got me into RMing in the first place, back in 2009. XD
That's really good news. It will be interesting to play the game again (especially considering that I missed a lot of staff in my play of the chapter I. Wasn't good idea to beat the main boss so soon. )

Where is game? ;_;
Can't you view the link?
Congrats on finishing! Very cool ambient atmosphere. Very polished. Only played a few minutes so far. Skipped the intro since you gave me a choice to do so. The first battle seemed a little less one-sided than the cutscene would suggest. I'd recommend lowering the HP of the bandits so that they can be killed in one shot.

Main gripe right now though is with the sparkles on events you can interact with. Mainly because the 'sparkle indicated' events don't seem to be much more than flavor text, which is odd considering there's also the non-sparkled variety of flavor text events. Was expecting either plot-advancement or goodies for hitting up these sparkled events, and since neither seems to be the case, I'm apt to just ignore them now. In any case, if it were me, I'd probably sparkle indicate the events that give you goodies, just so that you don't have to search entire rooms for them.

Lighting effects are super cool (though I notice that they disappear when you're moving between screens). Mapping is solid and asthetically pleasing. Can't say I'm fond of chibi map sprites, but it's no deal breaker. Menu asthetics were pretty cool. Appreciated being given the choice to have instant display text and run by default. Music really brings out the ambience too.

In any case, very cool so far.
Progress Impeding Bug: At the part near the beginning where you talk to the stranger with Laine in the storehouse.

Stranger: I'll speak to no one but Laine.
Laine: That would be me.

And then the stranger turns to look at you, but the conversation ends right there and talking to him again just gives the same dialogue.

Edit: Ah, I see someone else had the same problem and you fixed it there already.

http://rpgmaker.net/users/yuna21/locker/Map081.rvdataThere you go. Replace that map and the scene will commence. =)
Okay, new progress-impeding bug: I'm at the part where you're suppose to go inside the bar to report what happened after the events in the south village/forest. I skipped the cutscene, after which it tossed me in front of Laine's house. There's a new entry in the journal now talking about meeting two knights on the outskirt of town, whom I can't find, and when I go back to the bar, a cutscene starts, that doesn't end properly, leaving me trapped inside the bar behind the counter.

Edit: Hmm, I probably shouldn't be triple-posting should I..? Sorry, offended parties.
Haha, you like scenes, eh? Guess I had to bare that in mind too. Since certain events won't trigger by skipping story-specific scenes ( maybe new players should remember this ). But hey, its easy to fix.

There you go. =)

Once most of the bugs have been squashed, I'll just make a Winrar folder with all the replacement maps. Another reason I left the entire game unencrypted.
Eh, the cutscenes are just a little too broody for me. Not really a fan of dark, overly serious plotlines. Plus I tend to be pretty impatient :P.

Still having some trouble though. I replaced the map, but it doesn't seem like it did anything. Tried loading an old save from right after finishing the south village/forest, and tried not skipping the cutscenes. Went to the pub and saw the cutscene that ends outside Laine's house where you get the sword and 5000 bucks (though it says you only get 500). Afterwards, still can't find the 2 knights, and when I go back to the bar, the cutscene auto-starts again and leaves me trapped like before.

Is there a list of all the known issues and how to resolve them? I'm really looking forward to playing but want to make sure I'm prepared before I dive into it.
Yeah, I'll probably release a patch for the game within the next few days or so. Need to do some more testing, it would seem. ;_;
