Expressions galore!

So, I've been working on some character expressions over the last few days. I just need some feedback on them, particularly on Laine's sad and surprised expressions ( the last 2 ). Granted, she looks more annoyed than sad there, so I need a way to fix that up.



Creating open mouthed expressions for them is pretty hard, I admit. That's why it looks a bit off. Laine's scar is also more pronounced when she is angry.

Hm. They look fairly good -- I think I can understand the emotions they're trying to convey -- but I can definitely tell you're going for a "subtle changes to the base model" style. Which is understandable, since it's easier, but I think the changes might be a bit too subtle...when nothing but the eyes and mouth change, it looks kind of unnatural, you know?

But eh, what do I know about art. Overall the models look gorgeous. (Though I think Laine's eyes may be a bit too small...? Perhaps the largeness of her hair is just throwing me off.)
