How about both? <3 The pairing was pretty much intended from the beginning; even when the affection system still existed, M/L was the primary option and one of the few with any chemistry. I had fun writing this scene because I finally found a way to include some of Leiko's backstory without it being too awkwardly shoehorned in, aaaand there's also some other stuff implied in the narration at the end. :)

I was SUPER into M/L in a romantic sense from the start, and omg I'm just like... so happy to hear that it wasn't just wishful thinking on my part. Oh gosh what a lovely thing <333

Plus an affection system? This is truly a game after my own heart, good lord. *smooshes characters together and hisses "NOW HUG...."*

Ah, well, the affection system no longer exists and I mentioned it in a past blog post. I just didn't have the time for it anymore and I wasn't really feeling the majority of the other pairings. But yeah, M/L is a thing and it's been really liberating to reduce the scale and focus on this :')
